Truth or dare

Yersterday the whole class of e8 (minus 5 people) went to pd for our class trip. It was awesome!! The hotel was okay for a budget hotel. There was a pool and a slide and everything so that was cool. Overall we had a lot of fun.

Ok enough with the cliche it was fun statements. I mean honestly this is not an essay for spm. Let’s talk about the other stuff.

On this trip there were lots of activities like lucky draw and exchanging gifts (btw, thanks Dayah!!), and then we build sandcastles and played volleyball. But.. And i can’t believe i’m saying this, the highlight of this trip to me was definitely the part where everyone and i mean everyone played an old classic slumber party game, truth or dare.

And this is hard to believe coz truth or dare is a boring game where the person if he/she picks truth gets asked very vague questions ‘like what happened to ur ex bf/gf?’ or ‘why were u upset the other day?’ and i’m like wait who’s ur boyfriend? and when did this happen? and when i play this game it gets worst. When it’s my turn and i choose truth nobody knows what to ask me. I mean seriously  you can hear crickets in the background.

but yesterday was the best truth or dare game i’ve ever played!

Picture this: It’s 11pm, everyone just ate dinner, and exchanged presents and happy hormones is rushing through your whole body and we sat in a circle on a freaking stage at dataran teluk kemang. Add 25 secretive students which include a couple of crazy people, a hint of smart critical thinking and a few outspoken people and you’ve got yourself a great game.

In a nutshell there were some awkward moments where you can feel the tension in the air, and a few confessions that were quite shocking. I would love to tell you more but you know what they say ‘What happens in truth or dare, stays in  truth or dare’.

Conclusion, do not underestimate the power of a good truth or dare game.
